The Milwaukee show was super, too. The audience was "different" there, also. Older, couples, less single young ladies. Started slow..Gipsy Kings looked tired..then patchai got everyone out of their seats...and the gipsies woke up. I have to say, I was really impressed with Andre....like in his own little world...so happy..so into what he was playing..you can't help but share it. Nico, what can I say. He was passionate. He and Andre did a number alone on stage..I love that....It was great. I've noticed that although it's great to be way up front the sound isn't always the best...I'm guessing it has something to do with the placement of the speakers. Sorry, I'm not so good at song titles. Canut sang a song from the center mic..which was nice cause we were stage left.
The band doesn't seem complete without Pablo : ( . After the audience rather enthusiastically begged for more they came back along with Nico's son and Tonino's son, both with guitars. judy |
